Plain, thin blown glass is simply beautiful as it is. To accentuate the thinness of the Moon glass, we added a sandblasted band around it. Even with its small surface area, the band highlights the 0.8 mm thickness of the glass. The artisan carefully measures the 5 mm width of the band and applies masking tape when engraving it. While this process adds a touch of cool, silvery moonlight to the glass, it also imparts a certain warmth. The glass is surprisingly light when you pick it up. Its delicate touch on the lips enhances the flavor of the beverage inside, giving a luxurious feel to the drinking experience.
