Woodpecker (NEW)

Design by Yang Hen Chen

Woodpecker is inspired by the unique ecology of the bird that taps on wood, aptly named after the woodpecker. The rhythmic sound produced by this bird has provided comfort to many people, including the poet Ishikawa Takuboku. This table aims to achieve a harmonious coexistence of wood and metal as materials for furniture, blending sharpness with a charming design. It is a piece born from the desire to be a presence that adds an accent to the rhythm of daily life.
