Composition system cabinet

In most homes, the living room comprises the largest space, where a large (or sometimes small) sofa is placed. It is the place where the family gathers and visitors are entertained. As often as not, a cat or small dog will be lying on the sofa, the mother snacking as she watches a DVD, or perhaps the eldest son, having come home for the holidays, will be lying on the rug with a beer in his hand, watching a baseball game on TV. The living room has various spots that are a particular favorite for each household member, places where they can spend time as they please.

As the living space in every home into which guests are invited, it is one room that you want to have tidy and present attractively; however, because the living room comprises areas for each household member, the space is usually dotted with various items reflecting the interests of the individual household members. Nonetheless, even if this is the state of the living room in practical everyday terms, if the room has a handsome cabinet with high functionality and ample storage, it is possible to tidy everything away when unexpected visitors appear. The Composition System Cabinet concept beautifully stows living room elements that inevitably become untidy.

Where to locate the television is an important consideration in selecting living room furniture. Televisions are evolving year by year, their designs perfecting simplicity to create extremely thin, large-screen models, but there has been little change in cabinet design to accommodate these changes in television size and shape. Thus, televisions generally tend to continue to be placed on top of sideboards or TV stands. Considering this situation, we struggled to find the ideal design for a cabinet that would be able to house an entire television while beautifully integrating the space for the television and storage. It was important that this cabinet design be as simple as possible, and that it be functionally equipped with a TV arm to enable freely adjusting the direction of the screen.

Furthermore, the cabinet required overall durability in order to support the weight of items stored in the cabinet as well as the television set, and so was given brass legs to support the large box-style cabinet, creating a design exuding a sense of lightness, as if the entire cabinet were floating above the floor. Made using lost wax processing, the four brass corner legs were created through lost wax processing and extrusion molded braces. On both sides of the cabinet are spacious storage shelves hidden behind large doors.

These moveable shelves can be freely adjusted to your required height, enabling the storage of variously sized books and other items. In addition, the spaces above and below the television have drop-down doors, providing space for storing audio-visual equipment. This large television cabinet has a subdued design that does not call undue attention to its presence, providing a beautiful background to images on the television screen.
