This seating system evokes the image of small islands floating in the sea, clustered, connected, or scattered around a space.
With a minimum module size of 800 x 800 mm, the Archipelago offers a compact scale that was not available in our previous lineup. At the same time, by combining variations of the system, it is possible to freely create layouts in spaces large and small. Each variation is composed of a floating base seat on which three elements—a seat cushion, back cushion, and arms—are placed, either individually or in combination, allowing for a wide variety of combinations depending on the arrangement and orientation.
