In developing the Offset Outdoor series, we redesigned the structure of the Offset chair using metal pipes to make it suitable for outdoor use. The Offset chair was modelled on the Windsor chair, which was extremely popular as a garden chair in England in the 18th century. Just like its iconic ancestor, the Offset outdoor series was crafted to harmonize with outdoor settings such as gardens and terraces.

The tables and chairs of the series are of a steel pipe structure, which protects the wooden tabletop and seat and enhances their robustness. The wooden parts of the tabletop and seat are heat-treated with nitrogen to improve resistance against water, decay, and rot, but are left unpainted to acquire a vintage charm of patina as the years go by. The contrast between steel and wood lessens the inorganic feel of conventional outdoor furniture, making you feel relaxed and at home.
