Kensaku Oshiro is a Japanese designer based in Milan, Italy. He graduated in 1999 from the Scuola Politecnica di Design Milano and worked at Lissoni Associati (Milan) and Barber Osgerby (London). In 2015 he established his own studio in Milan and currently collaborates with leading design companies. 

He pursues innovative designs capable of expanding possibilities with a unique approach that draws on his multicultural background. His work extends across various fields, from product design to architectural projects, and from high-quality craftsmanship to industrial-scale production. 

Oshiro has won a number of prestigious awards including the Rising Talent Award Italy at Maison&Objet in 2018, the Elle Decor Japan nominee for EDIDA Young Design Talent in 2016 and EDIDA Designer of the Year in 2022, and the iF Design Gold Award in 2023
