Time & Style Amsterdam
Marnixstraat に面する煉瓦造りの建物は、建築家Willem Springerによって1888年に建造されたPolitiebureau Raampoortです。この警察署はヨルダン周辺の地域に根ざし120年以上に渡って運営され、2015年に他所へ移転しました。この歴史ある建物は2001年にオランダ国の歴史保護建造物に指定されています。新古典と中世の様式が混在する、塔に時計台を備えた建物は、Marnixstraatの象徴的な存在となっています。美しくリニューアルされた建物の内部は1階のグランドフロアから2階・3階・地下1階の4層から成る約900㎡の空間が広がります。日本で作られた家具や照明器具、テーブルウェアなどの陶磁器やガラス製品、タオルなどのテキスタイル製品といった当社のオリジナル製品を中心に、生活を司る道具類から盆栽や現代美術作品などを展示します。日本の店舗と同様に、日本人スタッフによる日本のサービスを基本とし、お客様一人ひとりと対話を重ねながら、製品の特徴や機能性からものづくりの背景、そしてアフターメンテナンスまで丁寧にご案内いたします。一般の住宅はもちろん、ホテルや飲食店・物販店などあらゆるインテリアプロジェクトに向けた製品の提供、総合的な空間デザインの提案を行います。年間を通じて日本のデザインや伝統工芸、現代美術の展覧会を開催し、伝統に根ざした現代の日本の美意識やリアルなライフスタイルを総合的に体現いたします。
