The tree-stump-shaped object has several functions. One is a presence as a small table. Another is as a small stool, when the three legs are facing upwards, though rather unstably. The last one is a presence as an object that does nothing. The product name, Objects with an existential crisis, comes from such ways of presence. It can be said that this object represents Patrick Chia’s idea of design.

We have 7 types of wood, 5 shades of dye colors, 4 shades of specular finish colors,
and 9 shades of paint-out colors that our customers can choose from. For the finish,
we have a choice of oil finish using plant-derived oil, and urethane clear finish.
The type of wood and finish will depend on the design of the product.
